- Tips for the driver or boat crew (gratuities are not mandatory but appreciated).
- Personal expenses.
Pricing
- To secure a charter reservation date, a down payment of 50% must be received immediately by Typhoon.
- The remaining balance of the charter fee (100%) must be paid a minimum of 72 hours prior to the charter.
- For bookings made within 48 hours of the departure date, 100% of the charter fee must be received by Typhoon prior to embarking.
- No charter will start until 100% payment is received by Thypoon.
- We accept payment by bank transfers or cash. The available payment options are displayed during the booking process.
- Once your booking has been successfully completed, a booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided.
- You must provide a valid ID for each person attending the trip at least 48 hours in advance (national registration identity card, passport, driver's licence, or other identification card or document as required by Typhoon) for boat clearance in accordance with Indonesian maritime laws.
- No trip will commence before the receipt of this document (boat clearance).
- During the booking process, you are advised to ensure the accuracy of your booking details (guest details, booking dates, excursion types and rates, number of guests, nationalities, ages, add-ons).
- Typhoon will not be responsible or liable for errors in booking details or non- acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms and conditions, force majeure, and refund or cancellation policies.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled trip will receive a full refund of the deposit for local bank. Regarding international bank the refund will be subjects to international bank transfer fees.
- Cancellations made between 3 to 7 days before the trip will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 3 days before the trip are non-refundable.
- In the event of inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances or if the Indonesian Maritime authorities (Harbor Master) cancel the trip, Typhoon reserves the right to offer an alternative date or a refund or voucher may be issued. This decision will be made 24h prior to the charter's embarkation.
- In case of a breakdown due to a technical fault of the vessel, Typhoon commits to offer to reschedule the trip, or providing a 100% refund.
- All refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of written cancellation notice. No refund will be given for no-show or days not used resulting from early disembarkation.
- No refunds will be provided for deposits or full payments on charters booked or cancelled due to guest personal reasons or travel restrictions.
- No refunds will be provided if a guest cancels during the charter due to seasickness, provided that the harbor master has deemed the ocean conditions suitable for sailing.
- Guests are advised to take seasickness prevention measures at least 1 day before and on the morning of the charter, at least 2 hours before embarkation, and to avoid consuming alcohol 24 hours prior to boarding.
- No charter will depart without approval from Indonesian authorities. We have the expertise to assess local weather conditions and can discuss alternatives if weather affects your trip. If available, we can reschedule or provide a voucher for another date, though a date change may include an extra charge. Please note the rainy season is from October to March. Our crew is knowledgeable and experienced in ensuring safe and comfortable charters. Inclement weather refers to prolonged heavy rain; occasional rain patches are common in the rainy season, typically in early morning or late afternoon.
- In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, acts of civil or military disturbances, fires, floods, epidemics, pandemics, wars, riots, and acts of terrorism, governmental restrictions, or any other unforeseeable and unavoidable events beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule charters.
- If a charter is canceled due to force majeure, we will offer an alternative date or a voucher for a future trip.
- Any additional costs incurred due to rescheduling will be the responsibility of the guest.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to force majeure.
- Typhoon reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other factors beyond our control.
- Any significant changes will be communicated to passengers as soon as possible.
- Passengers are required to follow the instructions of the captain and crew at all times.
- All passengers must wear life jackets if the crew request it.
- The consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderation. Excessive intoxication and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of the trip without refund.
- No illegal substances or dangerous items are allowed on board.
- Typhoon is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trip on Typhoon Speedboat.
- Passengers participate in activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and fishing at their own risk. It is recommended that passengers have appropriate travel insurance.
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- The presence of children and infants on board is allowed at the discretion of the parents, who assume full responsibility.
- Passengers should inform the crew of any medical conditions or allergies prior to the trip.
- It is the passenger's responsibility to bring any necessary medication and to ensure they are physically fit for the activities planned.
- Passengers are responsible for any damage to the boat or its equipment caused by their actions.
- Any lost or damaged equipment (e.g., snorkeling gear, towels...) will incur a replacement fee.
- Personal information provided during the booking process will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of managing the reservation and trip.
- Typhoon will not share personal data with third parties without the consent of the passenger, except as required by law.
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
